Woodrow Wilson staff, students thank community for Shoes That Fit support

To the editor:

We the staff at Woodrow Wilson Elementary would like to express our sincere thanks to all of the members of the community who have generously donated (and continue to donate!) to our students through the Shoes that Fit program.

Students perform their very best at school when they are healthy and have the necessities. The Shoes that Fit program helps to provide students with the basic things that students need in order to be successful at school. Simple things such as shoes, snow boots, a winter coat, or snowpants can make all the difference.

Yes, an investment in Iowa Speedway is an investment in our community's future
Only state money should be used, because the whole state benefits from Iowa Speedway
