Panther men defeat Northern Colorado, 76-59

CEDAR FALLS (UNI) — The UNI mens basketball team won its 10th straight game at the McLeod Center on Wednesday night, defeating North Colorado 76-59.

Jake Koch led all scorers with 17 points on a 6-for-8 shooting night from the floor. As a team, UNI (5-3) dished out a season-high 21 assists.

The Panthers wasted no time building a lead, as an early 21-2 run led to a 27-6 lead in the first half. UNI hit six of its first nine 3-pointers and made a total of 12 in the game. Seven different Panthers connected from downtown.
