UNI sweeps Kansas St. in NCAA tourney first round

LINCOLN, Neb. (UNI) — The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team got the dominant 3-0 sweep of the Kansas State Wildcats in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday night in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Panthers have advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year.

Tonight, UNI will play the No. 4 Nebraska Cornhuskers in the second round tonight at 7 p.m. The winner of this match will advance to the Sweet 16 in Omaha, Nebraska, on December 7-8.
