NHS grad to perform in Holiday Grande 2012

Zachary Parker, a 2007 graduate of Newton Senior High School, will be performing this weekend in the ninth annual Holiday Grande 2012 with Jim McDonough at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines on Sunday.

The show is a fundraiser for Camp Courageous and will be performed at several Iowa venues, including the Adler Theater in Davenport and the Paramount in Cedar Rapids in addition to Hoyt Sherman. Parker will be singing and dancing in the show.

Parker graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Conservatory of Music in 2011 with a degree in vocal performance. He spent the 2011-2012 season as an artist in residence for the Little Theater on the Square in Sullivan, Ill.
