A mainstay of the Newton business community for 80 years, First Newton National Bank will celebrate the milestone with a special open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the bank’s lobby.
First Newton National Bank, the community’s only locally owned bank, has been in operation since 1932. It has invited customers, local businesses and other members of the community to help celebrate with a tour of the bank.
Cake, punch and coffee will be served.
