Tigerhawk girls fall in season-opener to Gilbert

The Colfax-Mingo girls basketball team’s season got off to a tough start Tuesday night, as the Tigerhawks dropped a Heart of Iowa Conference game at home to Gilbert by a score of 52-31. The Tigers led 32-22 entering the fourth quarter, where they pulled away further by outscoring C-M 19-10.
The Tigerhawks host North Polk next Tuesday.
