MAT Tumbling posts high marks in first meet

MAT Tumbling/Trampoline of Newton recently competed at its first meet of the 2012-13 season in Jewell.

MAT had a great showing of kids for the first meet, competing in power tumbling, Olympic trampoline and double-mini trampoline. The MAT team had an outstanding performance, beginning with the lower levels at the ages of 4 to 6, followed by great routines in the middle levels. Overall it was solid team performance from top to bottom in all events.

“Power tumbling is the best sport you could join, it allows me to really focus and put forth all of my effort to do what I love,” team member McKenna Winther said.
