Iowa Speedway single race tickets, weekend packages available Nov. 20

Iowa Speedway officials announced Wednesday that individual event tickets and weekend ticket packages for 2013 racing events will be available for purchase on Nov. 20, and in advance of the traditional Holiday Season. The on-sale date for single races and weekend packages is the earliest they have been offered to customers in the six year history of the Newton facility.

A special, limited-time Holiday Family Pack will also be available from Nov. 20 through Dec. 31, and will include four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and four Fan Walk passes to any of the five major race events in 2013, for $99. Holiday Family Pack buyers may select one event from the two Nationwide races, two NASCAR Truck races, and the Iowa Corn Indy 250 to receive the special pricing, which has a retail value of $200.

“We are really pleased to offer tickets to individual races and single weekend event combos prior to the Holidays,” said Jason Christofferson, Iowa Speedway director of ticketing operations. “One of the most asked questions we get this time of year is ‘Can I buy just one race or just one weekend?’ Now we can satisfy that demand. And, at $99, our new Holiday Family Pack makes a perfect gift for the race fan on your list.”
