Financial aid presentation set for Nov. 29 at Newton high school

A free financial aid presentation is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Newton Senior High School in Room 11.
A representative from the Iowa Student Loan College Access Network will provide information on completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), electronic processing, deadlines, overview of the financial aid process, types of financial assistance available, scholarships and scams, helpful tips and where to go for help.
The presentation is geared toward high school seniors and their parents. High school juniors and their parents also are welcome to attend.
