Newton Lions Club hosting soup supper Tuesday at senior center
The Newton Lions Club will host a soup supper from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jasper County Senior Citizens Center, 702 E. Third St. S. in Newton.
The meal includes a variety of homemade soups, cornbread, dessert and a beverage. The event also will feature door prizes and a silent auction. The cost is $6 for anyone age 12 and older and $3 for children age 11 and younger. The proceeds will benefit the Newton Lions Club Project Fund.
