Newton offices closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day

Newton City Hall, Newton Sanitary Landfill, Newton Public Library, Newton Parks & Recreation Office, Newton Public Works and Newton police and fire department business offices will be closed Monday.

Westwood Municipal Golf Course will be for business as usual. Dodd’s Trash Hauling & Recycling Inc. will not pick up trash or recyclables on Monday — Monday’s trash and recyclables will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday’s will be picked up on Wednesday, and so forth.
