Heroes Game trophy on display at Newton Hy-Vee Saturday morning
The Heroes Game between Iowa and Nebraska isn’t scheduled until Nov. 23, but fans can get a glimpse of the game early on Saturday.
After starting in Fremont yesterday, the Heroes Game Trophy Tour will make its way east to Coralville and will make a stop at the Newton Hy-Vee at 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Besides being able to view the trophy, the tour will offer fans multiple other opportunities during the stop.
“The Iowa-Nebraska football game is a great new sports rivalry, and we wanted to give football fans in both states a chance to be part of the excitement,” said Brad Waller, Hy-Vee assistant vice president of marketing projects. “When the Trophy Tour is in their area, customers can come by to view the trophy, register to win tickets and support the Red Cross by supporting their favorite teams.”
