Local singers to be featured at Skiff Hospice concert Nov. 15

Skiff Hospice will host its annual concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the First United Methodist Church, 210 N. Second Ave. E. in Newton. Those scheduled to perform include Steve Knight, Julie Moss, Cul-De-Sac, Skunk River Singers and Sounds of Inspiration.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Skiff Medical Center Foundation. There will be a 20-minute intermission with refreshments offered for a freewill donation.

“Funds raised at this event are used to cover expenses for providing care to individuals within our hospice program,” said Brenda Smith, director of Skiff Hospice. “This is also a time to come enjoy the talented performances of local individuals and groups as well as fellowship with friends and neighbors. The support from the community is greatly appreciated.”
