Roberta C. Workman, 73, of Newton died on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at her home in Newton.

A funeral service will be held in Indiana. Memorials to the St. Nick’s Christmas Club may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home.

Roberta, the daughter of Vern and Chloela P. (Lash) Heffelfinger, was born on Sept. 19, 1939, in Huntington, Ind. She graduated from high school in Huntington. On Dec. 31, 1958, Roberta was united in marriage with Earl Workman in Huntington. They moved to Newton, Iowa, in 1979. Roberta was a homemaker and enjoyed spoiling her daughter and grandkids.
