Newton Christian Reformed Church held its Reformation Party Friday. The annual event featured crafts and games for children of all ages (left and bottom), as well as a soup and chili supper in the church’s fellowship hall. The event also featured a service focused on early Protestant reformer Martin Bucer, a little-known contemporary of Martin Luther and John Calvin. The service included a “Jeopardy!” style game show skit in which contestants provided questions to answers based on the life and achievements of Bucer. Nearly 100 people attended the event.
