To the editor:

I am writing this letter of endorsement that John Halferty is the best person for the job of Sheriff of Jasper County. I have had the privilege of working side by side with him on many dealings through the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

He is a fair man on any occasion we were in. He would be a true asset to the citizens of Jasper County in working as your sheriff. He has proven in this community that he cares. He helps out at football games for Colfax-Mingo and is involved in his church and many other organizations.
