I am writing this endorsement to bring Steve Hoffman back to Jasper County as our sheriff. I feel he will be a great addition to our communities.
I met Steve Hoffman about 20 years ago when my husband Harlen Warner, then mayor of Baxter, hired Steve as Baxter Police Chief. Harlen said then that Steve would go far in his career because of his commitment, integrity and compassion.
Steve is a good husband, father and friend. He is a man of good character. He is a professional who is honest, has the training, experience and judgment to be Sheriff of Jasper County.
