Halloween Hike at Mariposa
The Jasper County Conservation Connection and Boy Scout Troop 354 held the annual Halloween Hike Friday evening at Mariposa Park, and the theme this year was a history of the county’s park systems in honor of the Conservation Board’s 50th anniversary. Above: Liam Briggs as George, and Kristopher Rogahn as Goosey, explain the new watershed area installed this summer at Mariposa. Center: Jake and Lily Batterson and Mia Van Zante decorate (and enjoy) Halloween cookies. Right: Clay Trotter, as grandson and Nathan Miller as the grandfather, tell the story of the Wagaman Mill.
