John Jennings celebrates retirement after 13 years

The Daily News celebrated the retirement of longtime reporter John Jennings today with a lunch recognizing Jennings' 13 years of work at the Daily News. Jennings' last day will be Thursday, Nov. 1, the anniversary of his first day on the job back in 1999.  

A public reception for Jennings will be held at the Newton Daily News building on the corner of First Ave. and E. 2nd St. N. on Nov. 1 from 1-4 p.m.
