The Collins-Maxwell-Baxter volleyball team’s postseason run came to an end Thursday night by way of a 3-0 sweep by Class 3A No. 8 West Liberty in the regional semifinals in Williamsburg.

CMB fell by set scores of 10-25, 17-25 and 10-25 in the match to finish with an overall record of 8-14 on the season. That record is a six-win improvement from the 2011 season’s mark of 2-17.

Seven seniors played their final match for the Raiders, including Emily Newsom, Brittany Peterson, Cheyanne Warne, Shelby Berg, Jenna Ziesman, Becky Williams and Courtney Ubben.
