Kid-friendly Halloween Hike at Mariposa tonight

Celebrate Jasper County Conservation’s 50th birthday with Jasper Your Friendly Host during the annual Halloween Hike, set for 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Mariposa Recreation Area.

Activities throughout the evening include marshmallow roasting, campfire music by Mike Wignall, blacklight tracking, stargazing and sugar cookie decorating. Hour-long hikes will depart every 15 minutes. Cost is $3 per person, with children 3 and younger free.
