Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

Calling all ghastly ghouls and wicked witches: There are plenty of area locations to get your treat on during this year’s Beggar’s Night on Tuesday.

Newton’s annual downtown trick-or-treat event is set for 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. around the square. Skiff Medical Center, 204 N. Fourth Ave. E., once again will host trick-or-treating at the facility from 5 to 8 p.m., and Newton Health Care Center will host its annual haunted house and trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m.

Other Halloween events include Newton Village’s trick-or-treat from 6 to 7 p.m., Park Centre’s from 6 to 8 p.m., and a haunted house at E-Clips from 6 to 8 p.m. Also, the Community Cardinals of Newton Senior High School will have trick-or-treating, face painting, hot chocolate, baked goods and music from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (enter through east doors of NHS).

And, of course, neighbors also will be passing out candy throughout the evening.
