Karin L. Orr, 28, of Newton died on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. 

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Karin’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Karin, the daughter of Randy Bell and Cindy Vrchoticky, was born on Feb. 29, 1984, in Iowa City. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 2002. Karin was united in marriage with Kyle Orr on June 9, 2005, in Newton. Karin was a stay-at-home mom and was extremely family-oriented.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, painting and music.

Those left to honor Karin’s memory are her husband, Kyle Orr of Newton; children, Gabriel Orr, Aurora Orr and Jane Orr, all of Newton; her mother and step-father, Cindy (Mike) Behun of Newton; father, Randy Bell of Iowa City; her sister, Laura (T.J. Clayton) Bell of Altoona, Pa.; brother, John Bell of Newton; her step-sister, Lora (Jordan) Hadsall of Newton; step-brother, Shawn Behun of Newton; maternal grandparents, Rosiland Vrchoticky and Robert Vrchoticky Sr.; her paternal grandmother, Jackie Bell; and her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tom Bell, and an uncle, Arthur Vrchoticky.
