Beverly M. Rawlins

Beverly M. Rawlins, 81, of Newton died on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service with a lunch at the funeral home.  Memorials to Skiff Hospice may be left at the funeral home.

Beverly, the daughter of Clyde and Gelene (Wheeler) Rawlins, was born on December 19, 1930 in rural Jasper County, Iowa. Beverly graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1949. She worked in the office at the Parsons Company until it closed and then in the factory at Enduro in Pella. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Jasper County, living in Galesburg until moving to Newton 24 years ago.
