Kelley named champion of renewable fuels
DES MOINES — State Rep. Dan Kelley of Newton has been named a 2012 “Champion of Renewable Fuels” by the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association.
“I am proud of my record in the legislature expanding the use and production of renewable fuels,” Kelley said. “With Iowa being a leader in renewable fuel production, it provides quality jobs right here in Jasper County, while making our environment healthier and reducing our dependence on foreign oil.”
Kelley is one of just 20 Iowa legislators to receive the “Champion of Renewable Fuels” award for his strong record supporting renewable fuels and for his leadership for renewable fuels in the Iowa Legislature.
