Jasper County Kids Against Hunger to package meals Nov. 3 in Lynnville

Jasper County Kids Against Hunger will host a Kids Against Hunger meal packaging event on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Lynnville Friends Church.
Teams will gather from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to package meals for food-insecure children around the world.
Each team requires 12 people with a contact person. Time slots are filled as registration forms are received. The deadline to register a team is Sunday. The cost of the event is $360 per team.
In one one-hour time slot, a team will package eight cases or 1,728 meals. For more information, contact Bill Bennett, treasurer of Jasper County Kids Against Hunger, at 513 S. Third Ave. E. in Newton.
