Katie Braswell and Cody Daugherty, both of Newton, announce the birth of their son, Cooper Allen Daugherty, on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Grandparents are Al and Jackie Daugherty of Des Moines and Bob and Marie Braswell of Victor.
