Jonathan and Mary Kaisand of Fairfax announce the birth of their daughter, Ellie Marie Kaisand, on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Ellie weighed 7 pounds, 4.4 ounces, and was 203⁄4 inches in length.
Grandparents are Melinda and the late Earl Kaisand of Newton and John and Cindy Tometich of Johnston.
Great-grandparents are Doris Tometich of West Des Moines and the late Evelyn Gaster.
