Book signings on Saturday

Two local authors will be available to sign copies of their book this weekend.

Stephanie S. Sanders of Kellogg — author of children’s book “Villain School: Good Curses Evil” and the recently released sequel, “Villain School: Hero in Disguise” — will host a book party from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Newton Public Library. The event will feature activities for children, refreshments and a chance to win prize basket. Copies of “Hero in Disguise” will be available for sale.

Local author Marilyn Schuler also will be signing copies of her second children’s book, “Raven’s Mission,” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Choices. “Raven’s Mission” is the second in a series of stories about animals from the Bible and tells the story of the raven family who fed the prophet Elijah in the wilderness.
