Beckmann to speak at Grinnell College lecture series

On Wednesday, David Beckmann, one of the world’s leading advocates for the poor and hungry, will lecture in the Grinnell College Harris Center Cinema at 7:30 p.m. The lecture, titled “Exodus from Hunger: Changing the Politics of Hunger,” is sponsored by the Rosenfield Program and is open to students, faculty, staff and the Grinnell community.

This year’s lecture consists of 14 World Food Prize Lectures on issues of great importance in providing a nutritious and sustainable food supply for the world’s people.
