Escaped bull caught in cornfield
DES MOINES (AP) — A team of horseback riders has corralled a bull that escaped its enclosure and headed into a cornfield on the city’s south side.
Residents spotted the bull near a road Monday morning near the Iowa State Fairgrounds. It then disappeared into the cornfield.
Five horseback riders and three dogs were called in to help. The bull was caught shortly before 3 p.m.
