PRAIRIE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT

• Prairie City Police have charged Julie Ann Tigges, 48, of Ottumwa with OWI first offense on Aug. 28, for an incident on July 21, when she was arrested for drug possession and officers determined that she was under the influence. Lab results from the DCI Crime Lab showed that Tigges had methamphetamine in her system at the time of the stop.

• Jordan Jae Troen, 21, of Newton was stopped by Prairie City Police on Sept. 25 at 10:55 p.m. for a traffic violation. Officers determined that Troen was under the influence of marijuana. Troen refused chemical testing and was arrested and charged with OWI first offense and no proof of insurance. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
