Giving Warmth Coat Drive set for Friday through Oct. 16
Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), KCWI, Iowa Health-Des Moines, Community Choice Credit Union and Des Moines Heating and Cooling are co-sponsoring a “Giving Warmth Coat Drive” from Friday through Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Those interested in donating new or slightly used clean coats, scarves and mittens to help keep central Iowans warm this winter may do so at the DMACC Newton Campus, Newton’s drop-off site.
DMACC’s Phi Theta Kappa chapters will assist in the distribution of the donated items.
