Final date for election letters will be Nov. 2

In an effort to ensure every candidate for elected office has a chance to respond to letters to the editor, the Newton Daily News will not publish letters regarding the election after Friday, Nov. 2.

The deadline for letters to publish that day will be 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1. Letters regarding the election following that deadline will not be published.
