The 39 Steps’ opens Oct. 11

AMANA — Richard Hannay, usually just an ordinary guy, is suddenly caught up in whispers of espionage, daring escapes and close encounters with beautiful women in the hilarious man-on-the-run play “The 39 Steps,” opening at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at The Old Creamery Theatre’s Main Stage, 39, 38th Ave., Amana.

The cast consists of Vaughn Irving of Santa Fe, N.M., Lisa Margolin of Iowa City, Sean McCall of Marengo and Nicholas Hodge of South Amana.

Directed by Tom Milligan of West Amana, “The 39 Steps” runs through Nov. 11 and is rated Theatre PG. Tickets are $27 for adults and $17.50 for students. Show times are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.
