Pheasants Forever hosting banquet
The 27th Annual Jasper County Pheasants Forever Banquet will be on Friday, Oct. 19, at the Moose Lodge in Newton.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the meal beginning at 6:45 p.m. Proceeds from the event will fund local conservation projects, including land purchases, native prairie plantings, youth programs and environmental education.
Advance tickets can be purchased by contacting Keri Van Zante at (641) 792-9780. Tickets also will be available at the door.
