Rose Maxine Clark, 87, passed away early Tuesday morning at Skiff hospital in Newton.  Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at the Colfax Cemetery.

The daughter of Mike and Anna Nikolish, Rose was born October 29, 1924 in Williamson, Iowa.  She attended grade school at Williamson, and then graduated in 1942 from Chariton High School in Chariton, Iowa.

On Sept. 13, 1952, she was united in marriage to Robert E. Clark of Colfax. They were married at the Methodist Church in Waterloo, Iowa. They made Colfax their home for the 60 years of their marriage.
