Tony and Morgan DeRaad of Prairie City announce the birth of their daughter, Avery Elyse DeRaad, at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Avery weighed in at 8 pounds, 3.7 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long. She was welcomed home by her twin brothers, Gavin and Brevin.

Grandparents are Bruce and Patti DeRaad of Runnells and Rick and Kay Vander Werf of Monroe.

Great-grandparents are Donald and Marilyn Osborn of Prairie City, Alta DeRaad of Pella, Clarence Vander Werf of Monroe and George Thompson of Newton.
