Debra and Bret Rippey of Newton announce the birth of their daughter, Luxie Raine Rippey, born Sept. 5, 2012 at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. She is welcomed home by one sibling, Alex, 8.
Grandparents are Fred and Kaye Smothers of Newton and Dan and Nancy Rippey of Yuma, Ariz.
