Reader: Why is mainstream media so politically biased?

To the editor:

Why is the mainstream media so biased in the political arena favoring one political candidate over the other when they should be giving equal coverage to both sides so as to best inform their listeners and readers?   Instead, they play favorites and keep the playing field in their arena and tell the public what serves their liberal agenda.

The facts as they appear are that the news journalists for all three networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) live in New York City and 91 percent of them are liberals, 7 percent are conservative and 2 percent are neutral. The liberal media is in Obama's tank.
