Mustangs sweep inexperienced Saints for first win
MONROE — After losing a few close matches in its season opener on Tuesday, the Prairie City-Monroe volleyball team needed a win one way or another to get back on track.
Enter Melcher-Dallas.
Despite a somewhat slow start, the Mustangs cruised to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-8, 25-9) victory over the inexperienced Saints to earn their first victory of the season in a little more than 50 minutes.
