When business isn’t so good, give your customers a ‘dog’s life’ to find success

Sometimes, I’m amused when people talk about living a “dog’s life.” Perhaps that’s because our little dog has a beautiful home, two caring adults to look after him, regular trips in the car, a big yard to play in, and loving friends and companions, both human and canine.

However, the thing that intrigues me is what speaker/trainer Andrew Wood had to say about his dog. Several years ago, his wife took their sick dog, Winston, to the nearest animal hospital, where they solved his problem and sent him home with some medication.

Later, Andrew and his wife moved roughly 30 miles away and were much surprised when they received mail addressed to “Winston Wood.” Andrew points out that he never thought of his dog as having a last name, and he was amazed that somebody would send “junk mail” to him.
