Primetimers gather at Community Heights Alliance Church for monthly meeting

Monday, Aug. 20, community Primetimers met at Community Heights Alliance Church for a potluck meal with 58 in attendance. Ron Nearmyer welcomed all and introduced Pastor John Patterson for devotions using Hebrews 11:3, which reads: "By Faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible."

Hosts were Glennys Ward, Larry & Judy Bell, Harriet Gorr, Bert Doane and Myrtle Schwarz and the tables were decorated with School Day supplies by Pat Butin, who was assisted by Gladys Harris. Pastor John was the only person present with an August birthday.

The handmade door prizes donated by Jack Calhoun were won by Peggy Maston, Shirley Masters and Ward and Dorothy Kleinendorst. A program of gospel hymns was presented by singer Rod Zuidema with Linda Schnell at the piano.
