• A 16-year-old female inmate from the Eldora Juvenile Detention Center was charged with aggravated assault of an officer and aggravated interference with official acts during an incident at the Jasper County Courthouse Aug. 10. According to a police report, Timber J. Hogan hit a female jailer in the face and bit her on the arm while being handcuffed. Police said Hogan was resisting, screaming and cursing at officers and courthouse staff while complaining that her handcuffs were too tight. The jailer had visible injuries, including bite marks or her arm. Hogan was returned to Eldora.
