Dusting off the pompoms (Go Team, Go!)
Recently, someone not-so-politely suggested that because I came from a weekly newspaper background, I was wired to be a “community cheerleader” rather than a legitimate journalist.
Guilty as charged.
Then again, who doesn’t want Newton to do well? Who doesn’t want our community to be the best it can be?
