Area students receive honors, degrees from Mercy College

DES MOINES — Several Jasper County students received degrees during the spring commencement ceremony by Mercy College of Health Sciences at Hy-Vee Hall on April 27.

Newton — Kristina Kay Grier, associate of science in nursing; Cherish Rae Hansen, associate of science in nursing; and Joel Andrew Stam, associate of science in physical therapist assistant.

Colfax — DewAnn Sanchez, associate of science in nursing.

Mingo — Sarah Jean House, associate of science in radiologic technology.

Prairie City — Cara L. Wells, bachelor of science in nursing.
