The Jasper County Animal Rescue League and Humane Society is partnering with four Newton businesses to promote the adoption of dogs, cats and kittens currently available at the rescue league.

On Saturday, representatives from the JCARL will have a small group of available pets at the local retailers, allowing shoppers to consider adoptions, learn more about the role of the rescue league throughout the county and discover how they can help.

The adoptable dogs, cats and kittens will be located from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Earl May, Farver True Value and Theisen’s stores in Newton. Pet Kingdom will be hosting kittens from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on that day.
