Davenport police search for work release escapee

The Iowa Department of Correction released information this afternoon regarding an escapee from the Davenport Residential Correctional Facility (DRCF). 

Tyler Sebastian Lampe, 22, was placed on escape status at 10:40 a.m. today. According to a press release, Lampe is Caucasian, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, has brown hair, hazel eyes and weighs 152 pounds. Correctional officials said his identifying marks include a tattoo on his upper left arm and a scar on his left wrist.

Lampe was transferred to work release on April 27, 2012 after being granted work release status by the Iowa Board of Parole.
