Cardinal Lanes Summer Bowling League

Cardinal Lanes Summer Bowling League participants enjoyed “Carnival Day” with a pizza lunch, a 9-pin no tap tournament with cash prizes, a fried chicken dinner, disco bowling and prize giveaways on Sunday. Local businesses donated prizes for the event, and a portion of the league’s fees was used toward the event’s grand prizes. Above: League members take a moment to display their prizes. Below: Jeri Korte, Jim Decker, Doug Ewing and John and Stephanie Bare pose with their trophies. Korte and Decker each won first place in their respective divisions for the 9-pin no tap tournament and won $25 each for their efforts. Ewing and the Bares were the winning team in the 9’s Enough Summer League. The 9-pin format allows players to score a strike when they knock down 9 or 10 pins on their first ball. Jeff and Bev Van Blair are the owners of Cardinal Lanes.
