Please clean up after your pets’ droppings
To the editor:
There is a Code of Ordinances, City of Newton, Iowa #13.0309.3 that states:
CLEAN-UP. It shall be the duty of every person owning or having the custody or control of an animal to clean up, remove and dispose of the feces deposited by such animal upon public property, park property, public right-of-way or the property of another. Failure to do so shall constitute a misdemeanor.
